Russia sending more warplanes to Syria as world anger grows over ‘barbarous’ strikes

Russia is sending more warplanes to Syria to further ramp up its campaign of air strikes, a Russian newspaper reported on Friday, as Moscow defied global censure over an escalation that Western countries say has torpedoed diplomacy.

In a statement issued by the White House after the two leaders spoke by telephone, U.S. President Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel described the Russian and Syrian bombing of Aleppo as “barbarous”.

Fighting intensified a week into a new Russian-backed government offensive to capture all of Syria’s largest city and crush the last remaining urban stronghold of the rebellion.

Moscow and its ally, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, spurned a ceasefire this month to launch the offensive, potentially the biggest and most decisive battle in the Syrian civil war which is now in its sixth year. SOURCE

Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it”.

Do you doubt that statement as true?

Well, don’t because what we are seeing in Syria today is Act II of what we were witness to in Afghanistan 30 some odd years ago when the United States stuck their nose into military operations in Afghanistan as the CIA covertly supplied the Mujahideen with modern weaponry that was intended to stand up to Soviet aggression.

That little mission came to be known as Charlie Wilson’s War and to this very day American troops are fighting and dying against Taliban forces that are armed with the left-overs from that effort.

Sure, the Afghan forces won once they were equipped with American weapons, they beat the Soviet Union and drove them from their lands, and once done they turned their attention to the United States, our destruction and the continuing battle for world domination that Muslims consider to be their holy duty, and once the war in Syria is over the Syrian rebels, Mujahideen, Taliban, Muslim Brotherhood, whatever name they are now using, will again focus on us and other free nations, but mostly us.

The Muslim is our enemy, I don’t give a damn what that idiot in the White House says, we ARE at war with Islam and have been for a very long time.

World leaders can condemn Moscow and its ally, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad until HELL freezes over and it will do no good whatsoever. Who do you think scares Vladimir Putin? Barack Hussein Obama? Perhaps Angela Merkel?

Barack Obama is viewed, and rightfully so, as a WEAK, ineffective, effeminate and highly incompetent president that sends *strongly worded messages* in hopes of never having to actually stand up to anyone, and if that doesn’t work he sends and even stronger message of WORDS, not actions, just words.

Angela Merkel is going down faster than a sinking ship on raging seas; she can’t carry the battle in her own Muslim-overrun nation.

OK, so the Brits maybe? Since Margaret Thatcher died the Brits haven’t had anything even remotely resembling a *leader*, just as we have suffered the same fate since Ronald Reagan left office.

Bush 41, Bill Clinton twice, Bush 43 twice and now the 2nd term of Obama with the Dems doing their level best to get Hillary Clinton elected to the office of president? Is THAT your idea of outstanding leaders?

There may have been flashes of brilliance on a rare occasion but the above named don’t, for the most part, even rank a *good* in MY opinion.

Islam is our enemy, the enemy of free people everywhere and Russia has never been our friend. Syrians are, by far, Muslims (Religion in Syria), and if they are being killed by Russians and Russians are being killed by Syrians then we need to back off and let them kill each other in great numbers.
